The artist traveled to Iceland, where he produced an ambient album featuring electronic music and field recordings. For “Noord,” he recreated a nocturnal Arctic landscape. Visitors could explore a vast virtual map and discover kinetic sound objects that carried individual components
of the tracks.

The music became a walkable space: by moving through the virtual environment, visitors created
their own 360° sound mix. The floor of the physical installation was covered with haptic snow to enhance the immersive experience. Additionally, the visitors’ point of view was livestreamed and projected, allowing those in the physical space to share in the soundscape.
