Drawings
Quick drawings, performances, digital drawings, 2014–present
During his studies, the artist continuously developed a practice of quick drawing. Each drawing took no more than a minute, and in several performances and exhibitions they were layered by the thousands, pasted onto walls or spread across the floor. In this way, the process of formulating ideas, the moment of inspiration was put on display, becoming the artwork itself.
In summer 2026, the artist performed in front of the white facade of the renowned socio-cultural center cuba in Münster. At dusk, he projected his digital drawings from an iPad onto the wall, which for nearly three decades had carried the anti-colonial mural by Saúl Gutiérrez Silva (1992), until it was painted over during a facade renovation initiated by the building’s owners.
