Me, myself and Ø Video,
AI-generated material, text, human editing and sound design, 2025
The work places the artistic, aesthetic, and critical examination of AI in a fictional context: what if, in an indistinct future, AI develops its own personalities that eventually detach and become independent, a kind of strayware wandering between scattered server rooms? What questions will it ask? How would it mimic the unattainable human experience?
Determined by human memories and its own streams of thought, this AI finds common ground with humans in one of the most human experiences: loneliness.
The video works as a loop, a meditation with no narrative beginning or end: a fragmentary dialogue without partners. The ghost of a ghost of an unlived human life, inspired by the artist’s own biography. It circles the central question of living with AI: how can we define being human, and how can we nurture, protect, and assert humanness?
